Saksham's Speech by Maitreyee
Yesterday night Jyot called up to tell me that this blogging thing is simply great and I agree to u whole heartedly Jyot. He also told me that SAKSHAM (see I mentioned ur name in my blog) wanted me to write something for his speaking skill test. I, being always ready to waste my time, wrote one. But finally it was never spoken as I preferred to remain absent the next day. So here is the result (I hope u like it Saksham):
The speaking skill test has been a source of entertainment for us i.e. at least for the students of 11-B. From cute and sweet Valentine’s Day poems to the nostalgic memories of 2005-06 session of 11-B, we had it all. From Manvi’s Najafgarh Nalah to the month wise annual account of 11-B (with ref. to Rohil’s speech), it was simply fun. Some good, some bad, some worst and some extraordinary speeches made the day.
As I stand here finally to speak, I thank firstly Suman Ma’am as she is the person responsible for me standing here. Secondly, to myself as I have finally made up my mind to speak. Then, I thank the person who has painstakingly prepared the speech for me (as this is speaking skill test I hope this would not result in marks deduction) and to all the other people who toiled hard day and night to make my speech a success. And lastly, thank u all for bearing with me.
